EdgeryDoo 001K Template
1-7/8 yards of fleece (or desired size) 
11 ounces light blue worsted weight yarn
3 ounces dark blue worsted weight yarn
Size 2.75mm and 4.00 Susan Bates crochet hooks

Prepare the fleece as directed in the EdgeryDoo 001K instruction manual (trim and pierce).

Foundation Round:  Using the 2.75mm hook, attach yarn at any hole using a slip stitch.  Chain 2.  (long sc in the next hole, ch 2)  Repeat ( to ) around.  Join with sl to first chain.

Round 1:  Change to 4.00mm hook.  Chain 2 (this becomes the first half-double crochet (hdc) for this row).  HDC into each sc and ch2 space around.  Join with sl st to first hdc. 

Round 2
:  Chain 2 (this becomes the first double crochet (dc) for this row).  Dc into the back stitch only of the next hdc and into the back stitch only of each hdc around.  Join with sl st to first dc.

Round 3:  Chain 3 (this becomes the first double crochet and chain for this row).  (Skip the next dc, dc into the next dc, chain 1)  Repeat ( to ) around.  Join with a sl st to the first dc.

Round 4:  Chain 2 (this becomes the first double crochet for this row).  Dc into the ch1 sp.  (dc into the next dc, dc into the next ch1 sp)  Repeat ( to ) around.  Join with a sl st to the first dc.  Finish off.

Round 5:  Attach the dark blue yarn using a slip stich.  Chain 1.  Sc into the back stitch of the next dc and into the back stitch of every dc around.  Finish off.
