21 ox. Caron Simply Soft yarn
1 spool cotton Crochet Thread
fusible interfacing - (lightest weight available) - 4 yards (width - 45 inch)
enough interfacing to equal the number of t-shirts in your quilts - each square 13x13
Size 1.75mm and H Susan Bates crochet hooks
Steam iron, ironing board, rotary cutter, cutting mat EdgeryDoo Piercing Pad
Separate each t-shirt front and back along seam lines. Cut the fusble interfacing into 13x13 inch squares. Place t-shirt design with wrong side up on ironing board and iron fusible interfacing (adhesive side down) over design and fuse entire oversized square. Continue with all t-shirt fronts and backs.
Place each fused t-shirt piece onto the cutting mat and using the EdgeryDoo template and rotary cutter, trim each square. Move each t-shirt square to the Piercing Pad (manufacturer's instructions) and using the EdgeryDoo template pierce all 4 sides of each of the t-shirt squares.

Foundation Round: With t-shirt front and back squares wrong sides together and working through both layers of both squares with a 1.75mm hook, attach crochet thread to any side with sc, *(ch 3, sc in next pierced hole) across to corner, (sc, ch 3, sc) in corner punched hole, rep from * around, join in beg sc and fasten off.
Round 1: With H hook, attach yarn to beg sc with sl st, ch 2, hdc in same sp, *(2 hdc in next ch-3 sp) across to corner ch-3 sp, (2 hdc, ch 1, 2 hdc) in corner ch-3 sp, rep from * around, ending with join in 2nd ch of beg ch-2 with sl st.
Round 2: ch2, (hdc in each hdc across to corner ch-1 sp, (2 hdc, ch 1, 2 hdc) in corner ch-1 sp) around, join in 2nd ch of beg ch-2. Fasten off..
Assemble squares using your favorite granny square assembly method.
